    I am having this problem. Prerecorded movies plays 1 minute then pauses 1 minute then repeats. I was able to play these disks on another machine. My brother has the same problem with a different machine. I dont no what type of disk it is.

    I tried the disk in my computer and it works fine. The movies are all part of an oldies series.

    have you tried different dvd media?
    how did you make the dvd?
