Hey
I just wanted to know what makes a CD-R 80 minutes long or 700 mb.
Thanks

It depends on the number of sectors available on the disc.
A CD has 75 sectors per second, so an 80min CD has 360 000 sectors.
In Mode1, there is 2048 bytes of user data available per sector --> 700 MB for an 80 min CD.
Regards.
