Hi. Need a little help with VirtualDub.
I'm trying to extract TV shows from my Dish PVR-510 to play on computer & my Philips DVP642 set top box.
I've pulled the drive from the PVR and used PVR explorer to extract the shows to MPEG 2. The MPEG 2 files stop & go on the PC, and fast forward rewind are very erratic. I used VirtualDub to cut out the commercials and convert to Divx 5.2. They work great on the PC, but have no sound on my Philips 642.
Can someone advise me as to how to convert so that I get audio on my DVD player.
TIA
Mike

How did you get virtualdub to work with mpeg files? Do you mean virtualdubmpeg2 or virtualdubmod?
Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw? -
Thanks for the help, but I figured it out. I just convert audio to MP3.
