Editing with Sony Vegas

Hi all,

I was curious to see if anybody had any suggestions, i want to take my video footage, and have it play backwards very quickly (maybe 200%), does anybody have any idea on how to do this with vegas?

Right-click on the clip and choose 'Reverse' to play it backwards. Add a Velocity Envelope to control the speed.

Note : You can use a velocity envelope to reverse the video, but only up to 100% speed. By reversing first, then adding a velocity envelope to control the forwads speed you can increase speed to 300% of the original. As backwards is now forwards, you get the effect you are after.

In answer to your scratch post - have you looked at the help files ? Read up on velocity envelopes, as they will do what you want.
