I was wondering about the games you have to pay each month to play.
If you wanted to play off and on but not subscribe for a whole year do your stats get saved?? Say I buy a game like world of warcraft and I only plan a playing a little bit throughout the year.
If I bought time for one month then decided I didn't have enough time to play it for another month or so. If I were to stop my account can I freeze my stats and sign up again with my same account info?
Can you put it on hold and pick up where you left off? Or is it an all or nothing deal for the online games??

Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?

They say they don't save your data but they usually do. A friend of mine picked up his old EQ account after 2 years of inactivity and it was still there. However there are no guarantees of this since it usually says right in the EULA that if you cancel your subscription your account data will be wiped.

That sucks.
Well thanks for the info rallyDonatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw? -
In WOW I've never heard of a character being deleted so as long as you remember your login info you should be just fine.
In EQ1 if I could remember my login I'd be willing to be money my druid would still be there waiting on me even almost 3 years later.
Like rallynavvie said, they make no promise but rarely does anything get deleted outright.
