  1. The last time I needed help finding a sound effect I posted in a forum on this site and it helped me lot. I thought maybe I should start a thread dedicated to requesting and helping to find specific sound effects. I am hoping all responses will include specific links, the correct key words to search for at findsounds.com, or another free non-copyrighted resource.

For example, I was looking for a sound effect of a group of people saying 'awww' in the way they would if they saw a baby do something cute. I got a response on a forum that told me to search for a 'crowd groan'. I wouldn't have thought to search for 'groans', but I did find a sound I was happy with.

So, I have another sound effect request. I'm looking for the sound, 'Ding! Ding! Ding!' like you would hear on a gameshow if someone got a correct answer. I've searched for 'ding ding ding' and game show sounds, but I haven't been able to find anything.

If you know how/where to find this sound effect, please post it here. Also, feel free to post your own sound effects requests on this thread as well.

    How about this?

Tried using keyword bell on FindSounds and saw Boxing Bell sounds. Try typing boxing for variations on the link above.

  3. Thanks for the reply, Safesurfer, but I'm looking for something a little faster, higher pitched, and with less echo.

If I can't find anything better, I may use it.

  4. I found a great site for game show sounds:

    http://www.farmingdaleweather.net/gscollection/themes_library.htm

I found it by using Yahoo Audio search with 'Other Audio' and 'Web Only' settings.

This site has sounds from a lot of different game shows. The 'winning bell' FX from Scrabble is almost exactly what I was looking for. It is a little chopped off at the end, but I think I can fix it.
