im using powervcr II in my windows xp sp2 pc coz it's the only software that works in my cheap conexant capture card.
im capturing my tv shows lastnight and i was capturing i tried to play an old game which is disciples II. but when i started disciples II, powervcr II displayed a message saying that the display mode has been changed and capturing has been terminated.

anyway i can overcome this, i want to play games while capturing.
disciples II has no way of changing its display mode in its options.

You might be able to use the compatability tab to restrict it, but then it might not play. I'd play something that didn't interfere with the graphics modes, or you might not get much quality in your capture anyway.
