Real Time ASW?

Hello all,

I have adaware, spybot, and microsoft but seem to still get infected from time to time. It seems like ASW programs are very reactionary and not much on the precautionary.

Just curious to know if there are any real time anti-spyware programs out there?

Spybot's Teatimer should be real-time...

all 3 have real time protection. ad aware's real time component is not available in the free SE personal addition of ad aware.

in SBSD to enable tea timer:
Run Spybot-S&D in Advanced Mode.
2. If it is not already set to do this Go to the Mode menu select "Advanced Mode"
3. On the left hand side, Click on Tools
4. Then click on the Resident Icon in the List
5. check "Resident TeaTimer" and OK any prompts.
6. Restart your computer

Right-click on the Microsoft Anti-Spyware icon in the system tray.
2. Click on "Security Agents Status".
3. Click on "enable real-time protection"

you should also make some changes to your browser if its IE.
