  1. I use this program to convert my divx-xvid to dvd-video.
It is very simple and powerful and easy to use and passes subtitles in final video without trouble.
    Also it is extremely fast.

But my problem is that in every scene of video there is fast motion (example: action movie), the video picture is pixelated. When there is slow motion in video(such as social movie), then there are no problems at all.
I have converted many movies so I can tell there is not a problem about the divx-xvid movies themselves.

What can I do to avoid these pixelations? Is there a setting to make in the application? Why this happens and what do you suggest to solve the problem.

You can't do much with divxtodvd.

You can try other standalone converters and use highest possible bitrate to try reduce block, try tmpgenc, mainconcept mpeg encoder, see our tools section.

But you will always get some blocks when reconverting divx, xvid, they are not meant to be reconverted.

Or get a divx, xvid dvd player!

  4. Try DIKO for ease of use with fantastic quality, will take longer as it actually encodes the video as mpeg-2 rather than using a transcoder which just butchers the video.

Both programs encode. Generally transcoding is what a program like DVDShrink does, more of a reformatting. But DIKO has more options. TheFilmMachine is another one. It lets you pick the encoder program you want to use.

But for the maximum quality vs size the individual stand alone encoders and programs are still better compared to the All-in-Ones.
