Curious if anyone here knows the answer to this. I played the movie back on my software player and it shows the running time for the rated R version as 1:58:54 and the Uncorked version as 2:06:51 After I ran it thru VOBBlanker to blank out all the crap, I noticed that the running times are now listed as 2:06:51 and 2:12:18 What is going on! Is it looping back a scene or something? Another thing I noticed is that after running it thru VOBBlanker, the main title(s) have now been moved (in DVDShrink) from Unreferenced to Main Title, but the main titles are now interlaced with other titles (extras). I am now however able to backup just the main titles, as they show up separately in reauthor-mode.

Should be able to reauthor from orig in shrink -- ignore 3rd title listed. DVD main title jumps to other titles rather then using angles, so confusing to software. Orig times sound about right.

    mikiem,

From my pre-VOBBlanked rip, the large main title is gone in DVDShrink's Re-Author mode so I cannot grab just the movie. Is there a viewing option in DVDShrink that I need to change in order to see it? What I see on the right hand side in Re-Author mode for most DVD's is Menu's, Main Title and Extras and they have a + next to them to expand and view their contents. I do not see the movie there. It is gone, at least, I cannot "see" it.

  4. THere should be 2 titles to choose from. The extended version is obviously the larger file.

    dvdguy4,

I do not know what you are looking at, but I assure you, the movie is gone in the right window in Re-Author mode so I obviously cannot choose it. I'm thinking that I need to change the view in the options on DVDShrink so I see all titles expanded.

  6. Should be in the re-author mode. You can also check the dvd browser and you can get it that way to. Thats how I did my back up.

I believe you. I used DVDFabDecrypter to rip it. What did you use? I'm wondering if this has something to do with it. I'm telling you, the movie (both versions) are not available to me in Re-Author mode. It could also be that my view options in DVDShrink is not setup correctly. It may be hiding certain types of files it thinks are irrelevant. Remember that in Full Disc mode it shows the movie at the bottom in an area labeled Unreferenced.

Did you rip it to your HDD first and if so with what ?

Because i found depending on how you do it, it shows diff. structures in DVD Shrink.

I ended up doing a full disc and movie only with pretty much no problems.

I do not see the two movie titles on here. Do you have to scroll down to see them? It looks different from what I see on my computer. It has to be that my current view is different. Do you think this may be the case?

Your screenshot looks exactly what mine does after it was ripped with DVDFab Decrypter, in the link i posted.

The first screenshots in my post i link to shows them when ripped with DVD Decrypter or opened directly in DVD Shrink

    EDIT:
Well, if the name of your photo indicates anything, "dvdfab2968_b_mo.jpg"
Thats the problem, rip it with DVD Decrypter instead of DVDFab Decrypter.

"I do not see the two movie titles on here."

OUCH! Don't know what to say really. Same view, had 3 titles, 1 for reg, 1 uncorked, 3rd 1 with odd time I don't know what it was (showed same video though). Same in fact as what Noahtuck posted in linked thread. Select one of first two & reauthored fine. Used DVD Fab Decrypt.

Problem has been resolved. Re-ripped it with newest version of DVDFabDecrypter and it worked fine.

    Thanks
