I used dvdshrink and everything came out fine. Thought it would be a good movie for the kids but so far they arent interested in it.

Mine love it (6 & 8) but we have friends whose kids are scared by it. Each to their own, I guess. And for those wondering how I have it over here in Aus - import.

That wasn't a bad movie. Taken from a new perspective it was quite good. If you went into the movie thinking it was a remake or related to it's 60's cousin you probably wouldn't enjoy the flick at all since you'd be looking for things that simply aren't relevant to this newer film. The ending was surely better than the statue/beach ending.

About the only decent film (live action) I've seen by him is probably "Sleepy Hollow". I would attribute my enjoyment of that movie more to Johnny Depp than anything Tim Burton did.

Back on topic before we get in trouble for TJing 8)

This dvd opened right up in dvd shrink alone so there obviously is no newer types of protection.

OT:
He screwed the batman movies up SOOOOOO bad
But i did like his version of POTA when not comparing it to the original but as a new/diff. version.

I'm glad I rented this movie. I was considering buying it for the kids but after watching their reaction to it I'm glad I saved my money. Too short, too much singing, a well-trodden storyline. Not worth buying IMO, let alone wasting a disc backing it up.
