are you making a data dvd? dvd-video from video_ts folder? converting from avi,dv or similiar to dvd? or ? -
I am making a dvd-video from the video_ts folder. The file is in .avi format. I even set the video quality to the lowest setting and still get the not enough free space pop up. Very very frustrating. I hope that helps.

In authoring prog. change temp folder to one with more free space?
Perhaps prog. writes to temp folder then transfers to burner/DVD? -
I think it's saying your actual computer doesn't have enough room, not the DVD.
How much actual free space to you have left on your computer? You need to have a couple of GB free on the actual hard drive to write the DVD.
Also, change the temporary folder location to someplace else, this may help.
You can do that by going up to 'Options' in Showbiz, click 'Temporary Folder', then click 'Browse' and choose (or make) another folder somewhere else on your computer to see if it helps.
(I'm having a whole different unbelievable set of problems with the crappy Showbiz 2 DVD. BUYER BEWARE! I'm currently searching for threads with like problems)......
