Network off a wireless connection?

We're going to be moving our router soon, which will make it impractical to run a cat5 cable through the house from the router+AP+2 computers to a little test network I have set up in the attic. Can I hook up this network to the wireless connection, through a wireless network adapter and into a switch?

Like this: router > access point > network adapter > switch > network.
