got a dvd of the syriana, but the sound level is to low, is there any way to re-encode the sound to raise the level so i can here it

Yes, but it's a lot of work. It is easier to just turn up the volume. If you really want to proceed, use the search function (it does work, you know) and look for volume or normalisation etc. You will find numerous methods.
