  1. Hi,

The problem: I create a DVD with menu and a number of tracks. Pressing the menu button my remote while a track is playing does not take me back to the main menu. Pressing the "Title" button does however.

It is clear from everything I have read that TDA does not have the ability to do this. This much I am fine with.

I understand that the main menu in TDA is the equivalent of copyright/FBI warnings and that any sub menus are the equivalent of the main menu is commercial DVDs.

So, is there a way that I can use PGC Edit to:
    1) change the menu type from a Title Menu to a Root Menu?
    2) Make the "menu" button press go to the "title" menu?
    3) Add a root menu that will automatically cascade to the title menu as suggested in this post:

Although I am not quite sure how to do these things although happy to give anything a go.

    Thanks.

  2. I had the same problem and correct it with PGCEdit. But be warned, the syntax of commands might be not correct (I am not on my comp ATM).
The situation was that the Title menu set a value for a GPRM. In my case it SetGPRM gprm1 =! mov 1. Now when the title is going to be played it changes SetGPRM gprm1 =! mov 0 in the precommands. What I made is a cheking of the value of this variable in the precommands of the Root menu and if it is 0 (what means I am going from title plaing) I have set jump to title menu - so the menu itself is shown.

    Hi !

You can use PGCedit to correct the problem.

After the DVD is created with TDA, open it with PGCedit.
Right click on the first Title and choose «New Menu» :
    Click on «New Menu»
Click Yes and you will create a Root Menu for the Title.
This Root Menu will jump automaticaly to your main menu.

Do this for each Title you have on your DVD.
    Save your changes.
    Burn your DVD...

    Hope this help !

    Bye !
