    Hello Everyone,

I've been a long time reader, but this is my first post. I've got a problem.. when I burn an episode (season) DVD - using Clone DVD / Any DVD & a pioneer 110D, then go to play it, the disc starts playing episode 3 or 4 (etc) - i.e. it doesn't start with the menu as the orginal does.

Do you know what I'm doing wrong? It's really bugging me.

BTW - I got the same problem with Shrink 3.2, but not with DVD2One, which I trialed (but didn't buy as I've got Clone).

Thanks for your help, I really do appreciate it.

  4. I used CloneDVD2 to back up Family Guy and it plays fine. Did you remember to enable the 'keep menus' box?

yes, that's why I'm co confused. The menu's are there - but I need to press "menu" to actually get them up. So, when I put the disc in, it starts with one of the random episodes. Then I press menu and select 'episode 1'

    strange...

Try burning with a different program,Nero for example. I used ClonedDVD to B-U Farscape. I deleted all the extras and preserved only the episodes and menus. Never had aproblem. Also look at the file structure in explorer. Are all the files there that were on the original?

thanks Wolf... do you mean create a VOB with Clone and then use Nero? If so, I'll give it a go

Removing PUO's when ripping can cause this also. The odd standalone player (ex LG's) have remove PUO's as an option, disabling this will correct it IF that's what's happening.

I'm having the same problem with Disc 5 of Veronica Mars Season 1.

I was able to back up disc 1-4 & 6 using DVDFab Decrpyter and then using Clone Dvd2 to separate 2 episodes per disc. Then I use Nero or Roxio Media Creator 7 to burn the discs.

I've burned disc 5 four times and they still are not working. I'm using Memorex Dvd-rs and the other dvds are working in my dvd player.

I backed up disc 6, which only had 2 episodes, and that disc has no problems.
All software are the latest versions and I haven't had a problem with other titles.

    Thanks for your help.
