Hi there. I got an image file and burnt it to DVD using imgtools as usual. My denon player spits it out saying playback function isnt there?? I can play it no problems on my pc using VLC or powerdvd. I have also tried dvddecrypter. Any ideas?

PS i quickpar'd it first then unrar'd to create the image file.

Wrong TV system (NTSC?) and a DVD player that only likes PAL discs?
On the whole, software DVD players are very tolerant, and the fact that they play something, is next to no indication of if it's playable on a standalone player.

Well my LCD plays both PAL and NTSC and my denon dvd is multiregion. No problems before.

Multiregion doesn't necessarily mean multi TV-system.
OTOH, since I gather you've not created this DVD image yourself, there's no telling what moron did, and how he/she butchered it...
