  1. I am very new to the VCD scene so please bear with me. I am using Nero 5.5x and used it to convert the files to MPEG2 for an SVCD. Nero doesn't let me burn at disc at once although my writer supports it. So I burned with out it. Put the SVCD in my player and it tries to load for a long time eventually showing me my title screen. Will not play the videos though. Any suggestions??

Also I installed Nero while I had CD creater already installed. I took it out after the Nero install. (I have heard of conflicts) Any sugestions are much appreciated.

  2. Nero Version 5.5.4.0

My Hitachi DVD player is supposed to support just about every disc you put in it. It has a small SVCD light come on when the disc is loaded so it does know it is a SVCD.

Why won't Nero let me burn Disc at Once?? COuld this be the problem??

What are you creating the SVCD mpeg file with? Does Nero give you compliance errors?

  4. Nero says the file is is the wrong format so I select the button for Nero to change the format. It spends forever encoding before burning. (might be that I am using a PII 550 with 64MB). I still can't figure out why it won't let me burn DAO. Could this be the problem or is there something else going on??
