    If you don't have Nerovision in your release, you need to upgrade.

    In answer to the question posed in the post subject;

    You can use a hammer to fix a bicycle, but why would you. Just because something can do a job, doesn't mean it is the best tool for the job.

    If it's a DVD compliant mpg, just author it with a decent authoring app like TMPGEnc DVD Author (or GUI for DVD Author, or DVDAuthorGUI or...)
    ...and what guns1inger said.

    The el cheapo Nero 6 that you buy on eBay do not have the DVD burning programs. You got to buy that as an add-on.

    ...just to find it's crap in comparision to many (most) completely free tools.
    Nero can well be used for writing data to CD/DVD. Not much else.

  7. yep, they attempted to throw in too much stuff into nero......trying for an all in one app, however they botched it up too much for my liking........we need something to burn discs, not compress video, compress audio, capture, clean your kitchen and do your laundry....for capturing give virtualdub a run, for conversion to mpeg, give quenc a run...authoring, give dvd lab pro a run, and consider purchasing, and nero...well you probably already have that since it was brought up in the discussion to begin with

    Sp despite what we suggested, you went and got NeroVision anyway. Shame on you. And surprise surprise, it didn't work.

    I believe you have to go and pay for a Dolby Digital plugin from Ahead to get AC3 working in NV. Just more $$$$s down the toilet.
