Now that prices for HDD is extremely affordable.... I want to build the ultimate video computer. I have about 180 DVD's stored in my 300disc DVD changer. I've been extremely annoyed with the slow disc change and audio switching (lots of Karaoke disc). I would like to rip all of these DVD into the HDD and play them back from the computer. (I understand that it will take months before I finish doing this) But it will be a long time goal for me. Each DVD is recorded different, so I'd like to keep each track in their own Title directory but also be able to have disc numbers or directorial numbers where I can have an Excel spreadsheet of each song titles/movie titles and each track seperately so I can easily punch in disc or directly name/number then track number.
Are you following me?![]()
Are there any software out there that would allow me to do this?
I have at least 10 DVD roms sitting around which I can put them into an external USB enclosure in daisy chain them together... is it possible to "Mass Rip" these dvd? Given I have an up to date computer with enough storage space?
I'm thinking of doing 3x 500gb Sata drives internally

I was thinking more of disk images, but I don't know of any "interface" that allows easy picking. Most Karaoke systems just deal with the individual song files directly.
