  1. Maybe the evil MPAA has made Norton tell us DVDFab Decrypter is a threat.

I'm supprised no one has mentioned Eset's NOD32
small, light, unobtrusive, fast, very east to install/uninstall. What more could you ask for?

on a sad note, my sister purchased and installed norton av before I could adivse her otherwise
I had a horrible time getting it to work (she had an expired trial version installed already, and the new version would not recognise the new license).

I must have install uninstalled/ scoured the registry and norton's support site for hours to get it to work.

    evil evil evil norton.

My scheduled Friday @8PM Norton full system scan(3 hard drives) came back completely clean on my computer....both my "downloads" folder on my C Drive and the backup of the same folder on my external drive.
Just to be fair though....I did need to use a mirror site yesterday to download a Norton update for my wife's work computer that has a corporate version of Norton AV. Norton's site would not let me download the update.

Agree. I gave up on the "big two" years ago. Their intrusion is so bad I figured that's how they work- they cripple your pc into paper weights. If you can't use it, it doesn't get infected!! Bloated junk imo.
