Help Please DVD shrink getting "Error:\nCannot connect TRF&quo

This just started happening. When shrinks completes it's analysis and encoding and the disc is just about to pop out I get "Error:\nCannot connect TRF". I have no idea what is causing it. It looks to be related to Nero in some way. Below is the entire error message and it is quite lengthy. The compression actually does complete. I just can't put in a blank disc and continue the burn. Looked on the internet and saw that this error was related to Nero. Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Ask because you've got aspi & prassi installed from the tail end of your log. Incd can also be just generally problematic.

At any rate, can always create layout with shrink & burn separately, or to diagnose try to temporarily disable prassi, &/or incd? Try to reinstall Nero, &/or try their tools to clean system?

I can burn the DVD on Nero after the error message pops up on Shrink. But it takes much longer to shirnk the Movie with DVD shrink and then burn it on Nero. Up to now I realized what a great burniing tool dvd shrink is for a piece of freeware it still competes with anything out there today. I have changed nothing on my system, DMA is enabled. I think I may try their clean system tool you speak of , I did not know there was such a tool available on their web site.....thanks

Well no luck on the cleaning tools, I unistalled INCD with no luck. Tried to remove and reinstall Nero, ran all of their cleaning tools. I'm kind of stuck doing the shrink with DVD Shrink and burnning with Nero until I can get some better information. Any other suggestions from anyone??

My dvd shrink was working fine untill i put in a new hard drive( last week).
I reinstalled nero 6.6.0.12 then upgraded with their latest version which i think is a new January upgrade. Since then i have the same problem too.

I'm wondering if the dude who created DVD shrink whom is now working for Nero put this problem in the new version so we'd use Nero to burn. It actually started just before I upgraded with their latest Jan upgrade. It's a hassel because shrink burns a movie in about 1/3 the time Nero does. I'm thinking about rebuilding my system anyway because of spyware I can't seem to get rid of. Perhaps that will fix it.

I just downloaded Nero's latest update (a little behind in my updates) and now have the same burn error message using DVD shrink. I have always used Nero for my burns but now I am unable to burn using the standard Nero Burning Rom program. Just for giggles I took the decrypted files and used Nero Recode to analyze (again), encode (again) and burn. No problem. So why can't I burn using Nero Burning Rom program?

Not that much different from my modus operandi:
I let DVD Shrink compress the original then I just burn with DVDDecrypter. Only difference is that my way uses only freeware apps, and DVDDecrypter has been proven the most reliable DVD writing app there is. Possibly now rivalled by ImgBurn.
