I've got all the vob files in the 'video ts' folder, ready to burn, but the video is over 7 gigs. How do I burn this to DVD if a DVD can only hold 4 gigs? Do I have to shrink the vob files with a program, or do I have to split the vob files onto 2 DVD's, and if so, what about all the 'bup/ifo' files? How do they get split up?

You could burn it to a dual layer DVD disc. Or run it through DVDShrink and reduce it in size (And quality). Or probably better would be to take out the VOBs with a program like VOB2MPG and convert them to MPEG and reauthor. Or look to the guides on the left for something like this:

And there is probably a better way, but the above is all I can come up with at the moment. -

With a program or programs. Yes, that's one way
do I have to split the vob files onto 2 DVD's
Yes, that's another way.
And the third way is to burn them as is, to a dual layer DVDR.
The guides are on the left side of this page. Start reading.
Edit: You're too fast, redwudz.
