  1. Hi, I went by Office Depot on Bristol st. in Santa Ana, Ca and saw that they have many 100 spindles of Verbatim 16X printable on clearance.
    the - one is $ 29.64 and the + ones is $ 40.
    I grabed 3 spindles of the -.

    Those are great discs and that is a great price.

    Best price I have ever seen on them.

    I wonder why they are "clearing them out"?

  5. Who makes these discs? Usually I use only Fuji or Maxell MIJ. MCC is Mitsubishi, but I heard CMC makes them? Is that true?

    Verbatim has been MCC since 1x days. Only during 2x run did it get CMC supplements.

    MCC media is made at several locations, including a CMC plant, but it's still made with MCC processes and materials. It's no different than any other MCC disc. MCC is MCC is MCC.
