    Hi! Good day!

Here's my problem. I have few videos that i want to burn, but I want to make an "aspect ratio conversion". Here's the example:

I want to go from this (4:3)

    to this (16:9)

is there any way to remove the black bars so I can make a "widescreen" video? and what program should I use for this?.... THANKS in advance for the tips

  4. Is this of any help:

How can I convert 4:3<->16:9 with or without letterboxing (and preserve interlacing):

I should mention that cropping (and possibly scaling) requires re-encoding (and theoretical quality loss).
Also I'm not sure what type of video your source is, or what the desired output is - but you will do things differenly depending on this.
