Hi everyone![]()
I am looking for ways to correct several of my audio files. The sound of these files were de-hiissed, de-clicked, de-...so much that it now seems to come from outer space or an empty barrel. The human voice sounds like a robot's.
Thanks

You over-filtered them.

These files were done by someone else.
I know that they were overfiltered. That what I meant by: "The sound of these files were de-hiissed, de-clicked, de-...so much...".
I am looking for way to correct them since I don't have the raw (original) files. -
Unfortunately, there's probably not a lot you can do with them. The original sonic information is gone; there's nothing left to "correct."
At best, you might approximate some semblance of the original sound by using a frequency-equalizer tool and carefully tweaking the different bands to suppress objectionable harmonics and enhance desirable ones until you get something that sounds good -- but even that might or might not work, and it might make things even worse.
You'd probably be much better off trying to get the original raw files.
