what is it and how old do you think you were?

I can't remember much of being young but I'd say mine is when I was roughly 4 being on a train going to London and drinking a can of Coke. I may remember it more due to the fact my mother also took a photograph and years later when I saw it I could remember the journey and the can of Coke . I've dark brown hair but I had blondish hair back then and it's strange to see :O

I wonder if anyone here has been reborn and has lived a previous life. They will post something like I was 14 living in 1545 (:edit: LMAO, I just thought that this could be Baldrick in Blackadder ). Or someone will recall being in the womb and learning to swim :P

    My fourth birthday party.

I had banana flavored cake. And I got one of those racecar track belts. I was a belt that had a toy car as the buckle and the belt became a track.

I think three or four is the cutoff for memories. I have heard people claim two years old, but I am skeptical.

3rd b-day.I remember eating a powdered dounut looking into a heating vent on the floor in the am. I had 2 parties. One at my Grandma's and one at my mum's. "The Banana Splits' was the the theme. I even remeber the first being before noon by the sun position (really).

That is as far back I can go lucid. I have some convoluted memory when 2 yo. I opened the car door handle and fell out(much before car seats). As the story goes,I almost got my melon mashed under a tire but my mum got me up

edit-oh yeah, that was while backing out of the driveway.

    A few things when I was 4.

Infantile amnesia prevents people from remembering anything when they were 0-3 usually.

Whenever this topic comes up I am pretty sure that I remember my mom changing my diaper. (I don't know, maybe I wore them until I was six or sixteen or something) I rember events in nursery school back until the first time I went. My family says that there is know way that I could rember some of the things that I claim. I can't give refference to specific ages or years, but the events I remember. Time for me is kind of weird. I can associate it with like a school year, 4th grade or senior year or such, but without those benchmarks it gets really hard to associate things that I have done after my school years. Just recently I did a short accounting of just such a thing. Having thought that I had been in this state for like twenty years it turns out to be 25. And even though I should have known, I was figuring that I had been married for 13 years and it is actually 19 years ( Yeah, that one almost cost me).

My problem is that I remember, but I don't rember when.
IS IT SUPPOSED TO SMOKE LIKE THAT?

I remember sitting on an ant hill and being covered with red ants that started biting or stinging or whatever it is they do, and having to have a bath in the middle of the week. I don't know how old I was, but it was before I started kindergarten, (there was no pre-school in those days), so I must have been 3 or 4.

When I was three, my brother left me instructions not to chew his grape Hubba Bubba and went to school. Of course, I didn't listen and chewed through the whole pack as soon as he left. Boy was he mad when he came home.

This memory is from the 60's!
Being left in a car at the age of 4 or 5 yrs. old along with my 4 cousins. My uncle ran into the store to buy cigarettes and left all of us in the car. One of my older girl cousins accidently or on purpose let the parking brake go and shifted the car in Neutral. Yup, we were rolling along in the parking lot. Some guy ran over to us and stopped the car from ramming into another parked car.

    4. I was at my grandparents house and I remember asking my grandfather what popcorn looked like when it popped - he siad "Let's find out."

So we were at the stove with an open pot with oil and popcorn. Just as all hell broke loose, popcorn flying all over the kitchen my grandmother walked in... Lets just say she wasn't all that impressed...

  11. I can remember having my nappy changed. Think I must have been between 1 - 2. Also vague memory of being in my pram.

I can also recall that my Mum used to put a pair of plastic pants over my nappy and i can remember the plastic gatherings (elasticated) at the leg holes digging into my legs.

What if this isn't a memory, but a premonition about your future incontinence.

    Effing nappies?

    You mean diapers?

I think they were called Terri-nappies, not Effing-nappies.

I don't remember my age, but it must have been about 3 or 4. My mom was ironing some clothes and I thought the iron looked interesting. She told me not to touch the iron because it was "hot". I remember thinking it over and having no clue what the word "hot" meant. So as soon as she walked away, I reached way up (on tippy toes) and pressed my entire open right hand firmly on the flat surface of the iron. I found out real quick what "hot" meant. I remember spending the rest of that day soaking my hand in ice water, and having blisters all over my hand and fingers.

I guess that's the kind of practical lesson you never forget. I never knowingly touched a "hot" surface again.

A little over 3 years old - the moon landing in '69. I don't remember much more than the tiny little black and white set my folks had and the horrible black and white check flooring (12 inch checks - argh), but it was definately the moon loanding on the TV. Weird, but true.

Many things that happened when I was 3 or 4: my sister burning her hand because she crawled across the stove; running out of my room because I was scared by thunder; making a PB&J & potato chip sandwich; losing a boot because it was stuck in the mud; making a snow fort with some friends; getting a nasty bloody nose. All of those memories happened at the aprtment we lived in before my folks bought their first house, and we moved when I was 4 years and 4 months old, so I was probably 3 for at least the snow memory.
