  1. Hello All:

I'm sure this has been asked but like the title says I'm a "newbie":

I have CD's with digital photos on them (jpeg, bmp., etc...) and was looking for a way to transfer them to DVD so they could play on a TV. Can regular burning software do this? Any tutorials?

    Thanks

  2. Are the photos on some special CD like a Kodak Photo CD (commercially prepared), or just data (jpg, bmp) files copied from a camera or computer? Actually I'm not sure it matters either way, just curious.

Anyway, simple answer to your question, yes, there are more than a few "regular" video software programs that can easily convert still images to mpg2 for playback on DVD. That is, many converters pull double duty -- you can convert video and still images, and even combine them on the same DVD.

But as for tutorials, I'd start by first asking if you already have some kind of DVD burning software and/or video converting software, the feature you are looking for may already be part of that package, then we could just help you work out how to use that feature. And if you don't have anything, or it doesn't have a still image converter, we can go from there!
