I was wondering how to remove subtitles from either .avi/.mkv files? What programs should i use?the only program i have is VirtualDub. If someone can point me in the right direction that would be great. An also does anyone know how to use Adobe Premiere?an also i'm a absouletly Newbie when it comes to using both software programs.
Cheers.

If they are embedded into the video then you might try delogo for virtualdub, however it seems to work best with still logos, like station idents, and not with text that moves or comes and goes. And even with fixed stills, it is patchy and usually leaves a blurry ghost behind.

Otherwise you can crop, or live with it.Read my blog here.
