When playing an avi file (WMV3 codec), the video occasionally displayed green throughout the playback! What is wrong?

Probably a corrupted codec. You should be able to check them with DXMan. I hope you haven't downloaded any codec packs lately.
That is apparently a Windows Media Player 9 codec. Does it play properly with WMP9? -
I try to remove those codecs that stated "NO" under exist column but it doesnt remove at all!

There's a second program that is better at removing I didn't mention, Codec Sniper. You have to be more careful with it as it can remove codecs that are needed, including system codecs.

my avi files only show video intermittently, not a codec problem.
