    Hi All

I have a canon i560 color printer that the red has stopped up on. I had not printed color in 2 weeks and I left the tab on the top of the red tank so the ink had not came out. So when I went to print yesterday, the red is clogged up. I have tried deep cleaning, and to blow it out with air hose.
Do you guys and gals have any suggestions to get it to work. If I have to order a new printer head, do you have a good link?

    thanks

Not familiar with the printer, but if you can remove the print head, soak the print nozzle part of it in warm water with a little bit of dish washing soap for a few hours. That may soften the hardened ink. Not too hot, not too much soap. Most printer ink is water soluble and soap is a good way to soften it. If it is oil based, then more aggressive cleaning may be required. Then you would run the cleaning cycle with the printer to see if it does the job. It might take longer soaking and more cleaning cycles to clean it up.
