    hello everyone,yet another noob(ish) here.
just wondered if anyone can help?.

    i am experimenting on making a dvd(using svcd2dvd).

i can make the dvd fine, with menus the way i want etc,but was wondering if there is a way of putting something at the very begining before the menu screen?,i.e an animated logo or picture or something if you get my drift?.

i have seen dvds before where the persons name scrolls across the screen just before the menu screen, would love to be able to do something similar. .

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR ANY HELP OR ADVISE

You do that with a authoring program. A simple one is TMPGEnc DVD Author. If you need more advanced and flexible authoring programs, (And more cost along with a steeper learning curve) you could use ones like the DVD-Lab authoring programs. There are three versions in 'Tools' under 'Authoring DVD' to the left. <<<<<

Most all the mentioned programs have trial versions, so you can experiment a little before you purchase one.
