    Hello

I have some problems regarding burning video on DVD.

    1. I have burned DivX files using Nero and can not access the files on DVD. I used multisession features of Nero. The files are visible when using Nero disk info but not playable. Here I do not understand the origin of the problem.
    2. I have backed up a DVD using Alcohol on an dual-layer +disk and cannot access files either. The files are visible when using Nero disk info but not playable. Here I suspect the Alcohol wo dual layer support as an issue.

In both cases I have a statement that sessions are not closed. I tryed different SW to close the sessions wo success.

Is there any way to make this disk playable?
    Any advices appreciated.

you need finalise (close) the disks ... you can do this with nero ... just burn a small file onto the disk and make sure that finalise is ticked in the burning properties dialog window

Most stand alone DVD players cannot see multiple sessions, even when they can play back from data discs. Always burn your content in a single session.

Thanks for your advices. I will test it. The problem however is that I cannot access files on computer either. The most frustrating is a case with Dual Layer disk, I burned it in DAO mode with Alcohol, no errors were reporting during the burning process but disk is not playable. What kind of file can I put on DVD to finalise it wo distroying its structure?
