waiting for first VOBU... ?

hi,
trying to author a mpg to dvd, i get the message:
" WARN: Skipping sector, waiting for first VOBU... "
scrolling all over the place.
AUDIO_ and VIDEO_TS folder are created but have 0 (zero) k.
stopped it after 20min of waiting time...

the mpg is "480x360, muxed mpeg2, 25fps" says quicktime.
other mpg's from same source author ok.
using ffmpegX 0.0.9u

PS: final error message after some 30 min is
"STAT: VOBU 0 at 0MB, 1 PGCS"
