Ok, I copied a dvd onto a double layer disc. Now I want to make another copy from the copied disc. Nero is showing that the size of the copied disc is 38+gigabytes and will not copy because of that. It does the same thing for other movies I have copied. Wrong file size. Does anyone know why this is and how I can make a copy of a copy. Using Nero 6.6.0.18 oem burning rom with memorex double layed discs.
Thanks.

DVDDecrypter ISO Read / ISO Write should work.
If in doubt, Google it. -
That would take an extra half hour, is there no way to make a direct copy of a copy without ripping to the hard drive? Why does the error show up in the first place??

You *could* try copying on the fly (which I've personally never had much success with) with a program that's giving your grief ATM or you can try copying a much more reliable way that's pretty much guaranteed to work. Your choice.
As I said earlier, have you tried re-copying the original ?If in doubt, Google it. -
Unfortunately we don't have the original any longer. What do you mean, copying on the fly?

Copying on the fly is what I always do actually. The problem lies in that Nero for some reason sees all copied dvds as 38 gigabytes in size. Not the actual which is under 9gigs in My Computer. Can anyone tell me why Nero reports the wrong disc size for double layered discs?

...and like jimmalenko says, direct DVD to DVD copy has a pretty low success rate. Do yourself a favor, save yourself a lot of coasters, and do ISO read/ISO write with DVDDecrypter.
