    a few questions all help would be appresiated.

    i downloaded a movie it has 3 files one windows media file a sub file and a idx file anyone know what these are.

    When i try to watch the film in windows media it is having sound but no picture.when i use vlc mediaplayer i have picture but no sound.

    and last but not least how do i covert it to dvd and how long does it take i tried reading the articles but did not understand them thank you.

    Please use a more describing title to your thread. Use the edit button.
    The windows media file is the movie. (Use GSpot to find out what it's made of - this is important to how to proceed to convert it to Video DVD)
    The sub/idx is the subtitles. The .sub contain the subtitles as a series of images, and the idx tells the player when a particular subtitle is to be displayed.
