  1. Is this possible? I am trying to run a dvd, pause it, then using a screen capturing program, capture a still image...I get the image, however, I have to leave Power dvd open to view the image. If I minimize or close power dvd, the image becomes blank...Ive tried loading it into photoshop and making a copy of the image, but no matter what, the minute I minimize or close power dvd, the image is gone. Thanks for a any tips.

Instead of using a screen capture program, just use the Frame Capture option in PowerDVD.

  3. Same thing has happened to me even using the screen capture function in Power DVD. Open the image in Paint Shop Pro, it looks OK, save and close it, reopen it and it's completely black. I'd also be interested to know what's going on with this.

hmm. strange. when I capture in powerdvd (using the copy to clipboard option), and then open paint shop pro, edit ->paste as new image, it never fails. do you copy to file, or the clipboard?
