I have two .mpeg files that I want to merge before transcoding to DVD. These files were extracted from .cue files. TMPGEncoder recognizes that there is a video stream in the first file, but says there is none in the second. I've started to play this file through PowerDVD so it seems that there is a video stream in that file.
Can someone tell me how to get TMPGEncoder to recognize the second video stream, or, another freeware program to merge these files?

    Thanks

  2. Your first step is to load them in the last version of GSpot and to compare them. If there are diferencies (beside the video bitrate) you simply forget about joining in TMPG.

VideoInspector says that both files are "valid" Mpeg-1, and, are missing no codecs. So what now?

About "valid mpeg1" - I have here two valid mpeg1 files. One is 25 fps, the other 29.97 fps. How do you think would be possible to join them with TMPG mpeg tools? This is an example.
