I have a little problem. I have "Studio Plus 700-PCI" to capture analog films to my PC but i see that Studio 10 software needs above 500 mb to run. I think that maybe another software to capture analog film with this card.
Which maybe the better to capture, little loss frames and minimum Ram needs?
I listen about iuVCR, Virtualdub... and anothers but i don't know which is better for analog films.
I capture in PAL mode.
Thanks for all![]()

Forgive me for being confused here, but you are capturing analog film? How does the signal come in? Do film projectors have a composite (or s-video) output?
Assuming you have a video signal coming into your capture card, then I'd recommend Virtual VCR for capturing. It's easy to set up, gives you freedom to make all the settings you want. And you can save your settings profile. It also keeps a log of dropped frames so you can go back and check your video file. Oh, and it's free.

Wellll... V/Dub is free, lots of folks use it, & did I mention it's free
Nothing to lose if you give it a try.
