  2. scustalow,

you reminded me that I wanted a DVD of this superb adventure classic. I've just ordered a copy. As for the music track itself, I'm looking into it now myself and I'll let you know if I have any luck.

I was just able to track down some extremely rare Sally Fields recordings (1920), so something from the 60ies should be easy in comparison.

Yeah but I doubt it's the Connie Francis original. Many so called sound track CD's do not include the original score, but rather different versions often sung or performed by different artists.

Regardless I won't buy from Yahoo or any of its affiliates after that disgraceful handing over of public search data to the US Justice department. Yahoo stinks!

If you guys are really serious about finding the soundtrack:

Jerry's Records in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania U.S.A.

He only has a web site for his monthly auctions...but he is IMO the BEST vinyl record store in the U.S....and 90% of his records are $5...he only collects and marks up stuff he likes....the rest are $5.

  10. Thanks. Again it is the same song. It comes in original Italian, English and instrumental forms. I'm after the "original" film instrumental/song by Connie Francis. As soon as I get the film DVD I'll be able to work out which version I want - or if a dubbing of the DVD itself will be fine. It has been too long since I've seen the film to remember

If you type Connie Francis in Amazon.com there are at least two "Italian/Italy" type of CD's listed for her....and the song I posted above is on one of them with an available sample.
