    I've seen a lot of KVCDs (dozens from torrent)... I've even made a few just to check out the hype and see what I could acheive... I have, apparenlty, still not seen a proper KVCD.... Oh, I have seen a few that looked acceptable on my Zen Vision:m, but none that looked acceptable on my television....

    I have seen some standard VCDs however, that look damned fine even on the 42" HDTV (not if you are sitting 12" from the set, but from the couch they are fine). I have a Hauppage MediaMVP and I store all of the kids movies on there.... They are all in VCD or CVD format, encoded by me. Some of the CVD stuff I have a hard time telling from DVDs from the couch...

  5. maybe you could rip to divx and put 3 on a dvd-r and watch it in a dvd player that supports mpeg4.
