    I was using this tutorial

When Diko had done its stuff, i was left with mpa and mpv files when i went to create a dvd using dvd-lab i have been getting the following error

Cause: Bad header or unknown error
This file doesn't seems to be MPEG audio
Check if it is not a wrongly named ac3

I put the mpa file in the following apps and got the following details

    Gspot -
    MPEG-1 Layer 2 160kbs 48000Hz

    AVIcodec -

    File : 52 MB (0.00 B), duration: 0:45:39, type: DSH, 1 audio stream(s), quality: 69 %

    Audio : 52 MB, 160 Kbps, 48000 Hz, 2 channels, 0x50 = Mpeg-1 audio Layer 2 (MP2), Supported

I have done the conversion twice with the same results, the mpa file plays ok in winamp

Does this mean I have to reconvert the files again?

Sorry i am new to this and a bit lost

    Rename MPA to MP2, perhaps.

    Thanks

    I had already tried that

but i got the following error

Cause DVD-lab expect the *.mp2 file to be an audio file
Your file is not recognised as audio

    So it's not that,
    thanks

Try MPEGProperties, or MediaInfo on it, and see what IT says...
