    I created a DVD from a mpeg file using TMPGEnc, and it works fine. The problem is I forgot to add chapters and I no longer have the original mpeg file.

    How can I get the DVD back to a mpeg (if this is what I need to do) to add chapters.

    Just import the DVD into TDA and start again.

    Strip the video and audio using vobedit , to demux the complete title set .

    Depending on the audio , it may need re-encoding .

    Use ifoedit to author dvd .
    Ifoedit require's a text file called celltimes , which state's the frame's the chapter's happen .

  4. vob2mpg may be able to help you in this case........just demux the vob files, re-import them into TDA, chapter and author as needed and burn to disc....

    i'll second TDA..it's all you need. no demux/remux or any of that extra jazz required.
