  1. I have captured videos with my mini DV camcorder and edited them with Premiere 6.0 and converted to MPEG 2 with Lingos at the presets. These files I added to NERO VISION EXPRESS, then added chapters and burned to dvd-r. The videos play and look good, but the fast or slow controls cause the video and audio to seperate. The video freezes and the audio either plays or goes into a short loop. What gives, this is the forth video and all work or miss work the same. I hope that someone has an answer to this.

How does the DVD or DVD layout play on your PC?

  3. The DVDs play very antimated at 1.5x or 2x using NERO Showtime, but my home made DVDs play fine on my PC. On my DVD player though, the video freezes when I press fast forword and I need to press 'play'. This sets the audio into a short loop and I then need to press 'next' to get the movie playing again. I tried to re-output without the Multiplex option turned on in Premiere, no change. I am wondering if this is a 'feature' of NERO and I need to use MYDVD or other authoring tool, or am I doing something wrong. I like the simplisity of NERO for these short movies.

Nero wants to be all things to all men. The reality is that it now does many things, but none of them particularly well. I don't think that MtDVD would be much of an improvement. If you want something relatively simple to use for those quick DVD moments, might I suggest you download the trial version of tmpgenc DVD Author and give it a go.
