Sony DVP-NS700P......................any good?

Anyone know anything about the Sony DVP-NS700P. I looked at the DVD list and not too many have reviewed it. I'd be greatly indebted to anyone willing to share information on what this player can do. I have a buddy that wants to sell it to me for $175. Is it worth it?

If it uses the same drive technique as my DVP-NS900 (and I think it does -> same time of release), it's worth it.

It plays any kind of media (incl. CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-R, DVD-RW) and format (incl. SVCD, (x)VCD, SACD).
