Hi. First of all, sorry for my English, I hope anybody will understand what I mean.
I’m an owner of Kenwood Home Cinema System DVR-7000, I have bought set of normal size 5.1 Jamo speakers and connected it. All speakers are Ok, but I have problem with sound in front speakers, it seems that the signal from DVR-7000 is filtrated and all low frequency sounds are going to the subwoofer, and my new big front speakers sounds like small plastic boxes. I know Kenwood was offering similar home cinema system DVR-505 with set of bigger two way speakers KS-305DV, my question is: is there any way I can switch this equipment for “large speakers mode”? Is the software from DVR-505 different, set for larger speakers? Should I search for this 505 soft and try to flash it to my 7000? When I’m listening DTS demos, I see the LFE indicator on the display, front speakers sound great then and they have all range of sound then but this is only one way I can hear these speakers sound like they should. Mostly I’m listening to the radio and there is no way I can force it to play low frequency sounds in front speakers. No possibility to swich SW to LFE.
I will appreciate very, very much if you tell me what to do, I want to keep this cinema system, but I’m very disappointed with what I am hearing now.
