    You do know well that normal CCE doesn't have noise!
    (i dont know about those 'basic' or trials etc as i have never tried them).
    And since you prefer it - you do know that procoder always soften the output.
    Both are fast, but atm CCE is simply better encoder, whats there to discuss

    There is only one example where i prefer procoder than cce: converting captures of off old vhs tapes, but thats different story

  4. For a hobbyist to buy CCE SP at $2,000 is ridiculous.

    But CCE Basic is only $60, same as Procoder.

    ProCoder Express, perhaps. The full version of ProCoder is somewhat more expensive

  7. ease of use, tmpgenc has it....quality, personally i like CCE basic...or if you dont wanna foot any money at all, quenc is decent for what it costs......nada...i haven't really delt with procoder enough to make an informed opinion on it, as the once or twice i did try it (quite some time back) i got some error on the video i was encoding so i just kinda gave up on it......
