is is possible to link a video out port to a audio in port, record the signal on a cassette or as a wave and then play it back from audio out into video in as a video file????????

Basically:
>Play a video from my pc through VIDEO OUT
>connect video out to the audio in of my cassette player or ipod or any audio device
>record the signal
>playback the audio signal into a video in port
>Video emerges

Nope.
Basically, what you're asking is: Can I use a cassette recorder (or any other audio recorder) as a video recorder?
