The only problem is that premiere doesnt regonize the capture card, or i dont know how to set it up. It always says the device is off-line. So can elements do this tyoe of capture or is it firewire or usb only?
I'm trying to capture video from an analog source and have suscessfuly done it using the ATI card with windows movie maker. Bu i dont want to use that software. So is there away to ger elements to regonize this card?
Thanks for any help and advice.

Far from expert with prem, all I can tell you is most capture apps or applets bundled or built-into NLEs nowdays are looking for DV video transfer via firewire. You might want to search the forum sections a bit and see what others are using with HD cards, &/or see if the new MMC works with your handware.
