In MPEG-2 conversion (using HC), I'd like to know when I should set DC to 8, 9 or 10.
I am converting a 720*576 video to 352*576.
I tried various encoding, starting from 2.5 MBps and set HC to use DC=8.
What about 4 Mbps? I'd say it's a high bitrate for half resolution video, but "mid" for full res... So, DC=9 or still 8?
